Police and Fire Protection
Law enforcement is through the Cass County Sheriff’s Department
Fire protection is through an arrangement with the City of Belton through the Mt. Pleasant Fire Protection District, paid for by a county tax. Ambulance protection comes through a Federal mandate and is associated with fire protection in that fire apparatus is sent with each ambulance call.
